Want to set up pages on your website for a promotion you’re running ?
But lost on how to create a professional page quickly ?
Most people these days are using content management systems (CMSes) for their websites. Some examples are …
- Shopify
- Big Commerce
- WordPress
- Joomla
A CMS allows you to edit pages and parts of your website by logging in and manage pages in an online editor in your browser. So you don’t have to mess about with layout code too much, or uploading and downloading files.
The ability to create stunning promotional pages in these to send people to is fairly limited though. And sometimes your website doesn’t have a CMS or you don’t even have a website. so what do you do ?
Here are some options.
We use Optimizepress and for split testing either Google Experiments or another ap that I’ll show you soon.

There are some other great online services for building good landing landing pages fast … we used Lead Pages a lot for a while.
Leadpages has a plugin for WordPress that allows the pages you build to display on your website. Leadpages also lets you add a page to a Facebook tab.
Otherwise you do need to download the page and upload it to your server using an FTP ap ( file transfer protocol ).
I eventually have stuck with Optimizepress because it lets you brand the page similar to the rest of the website and easily include the main website menu.
Similar to Leadpages – Instapage has a plugin for WordPress.
10 Minute Pages
Can publish a page under your domain.
Megaphone app
Buy your own domain & run all the pages under that.
Or download the page code and upload the page to your server.

Unbounce @$199 per month is a bit more than I’m willing to pay.
So these are all fast ways of setting up a couple of pages to test with Google Experiments ( there’s a PDF below that covers running these ).
