The amount of income to a business, group or individual is proportional to the amount of attention it receives. This is something that you can observe when you look at celebrities or groups with well-know names.

You become well know by generating interest in what you provide or accomplish, and this involves doing and producing something of value, and then communicating about it.

  • You don't get the "powered by" links at the bottom of emails you send out, which is often the case with the subscription services.
  • There are no restrictions on exporting your contacts database or backing it up. You can move the application to a different server if you need to.

Promoting yourself over the internet isn't limited to email campaigns of course. There are a heap of things you can do, and some will be best for you, and others not much use. It's usually best practice to concentrate on a single thing that gets results for you, rather than spreading yourself too thin trying to cover all options.
